Instructions for recovering you pool table. I hate the choice of terms since a pool table is not really covered with felt but the site calls it "Re-Felting" so I will just live with their choice of words only because they give great advise in a laymans terminology that even I could follow without scratching my head too much. My friend and I followed the instructions on this site and recovered my table with Simonis 860 in about 10 hours...OK.....so we worked slow....most people could probably do a decent job in about half that time if they worked at it hard. Either way these instructions are great at helping the rookie avoid some serious errors and if you are "at all handy" you will be able to do a GREAT job. My table turned out better than it did when I paid a pro $300 to do it for me.

Dr. Dave's Principals of Pool High Speed videos are just some of the excellent resources on Dr. Dave's site at Colorado State University. Black Jack David Sapolis, professional player, author and instructor has a great deal of knowledge about pool.He has written an amazing amount of information for the aspiring pool player. National Billiards Academy is self explanatory but there are some hidden jewels especially in Tom Simpson's Articles Section. You can read for yourself a complete list of Tom's credentials but to give you a small sample Tom Simpson writes articles for Billiards Digest, is a BCA Master Instructor and BCA Referee (wouldn't it be great to see the game through the eyes of the ref?). Tom Simpson is an inventor of a number of billiard related products such as the Elephant Practice Balls and the Elephant Beautiful Balls as seen on ESPN. Tom says he enjoys playing for the beauty of the game and that alone makes him worth listening too. Very few people in the billiards industry can lay claim to a resume that will match Tom Simpson's in knowledge, experience, skills and appreciation of the game in all it complexities! Give his site a look and I know you too will find it worth your time and it will earn your appreciation as it did mine.
